provides training and information to parents to help them participate more
effectively with professionals in meeting the educational needs of their

Parent Information Resource
Center - This project is funded by the U.S. Department of
Education, Office of Innovation and Improvement, under
Grant #U310A060021. This project provides parents, schools and community
organizations with information and assistance to understand how children develop
and what they need to succeed in school. The PIRC strengthens partnerships so
that children can reach high academic standards through parent involvement.
