Description
People of all ages - including children, teenagers and young adults - may be diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. In fact, MS is the leading cause of neurological disease in young adults between the ages of 18 and 26. Students with disabilities who are in either elementary or secondary schools (elementary, middle and high school) or who are in post-secondary schools (any education enrollment beyond the high school diploma) have education rights and responsibilities. This brochure from the National MS Society explains the differences in rights and responsibilities both for students and the schools or colleges they attend.
