The mission and vision of Pathfinder Services of North Dakota (PSND) is to provide educational resources to parents, youth, professionals, and the community focusing on individuals Birth-26 with learning differences or challenges. PSND is dedicated to supporting families by offering educational resources and navigational supports through statewide services, improving the knowledge and understanding of systems.
PSND is governed by a board of parents and professionals. The majority of our board members are family members of children or youth with disabilities and/or have disabilities of their own. Members of the Board guide the overall mission and dedicate time and energy toward fundraising efforts. They also assist with the general promotion of PSND's services. Join us in lending your personal and/or professional knowledge and support toward our mission.
Major Responsibilities of the Board
- Leading the Board and Executive Committee to carry out its governance functions
- Serving as an ambassador of the organization and advocating its mission to internal and external stakeholders
- Working with the Fundraising Committee in efforts toward successful capital campaigning in seeking unrestricted funding
